The Ombre

Ombre: the hairstyle that dominated 2012.

What first started with chic, daring celebrities, then made it's way to tumblr and fashion blogs alike and is now seen virtually everywhere. I myself began to sport the ombre style as of late last year but what I'm curious to know is whether the look will continue to prevail, or will its fame be short lived? Will women be able to work the soft, cozy look into their summer style? Perhaps the ombre is a fall/winter phenomenon, forcing us style watchers to just wait and see. As for now, work your ombre for it adds some amazing style and colour to the drab winter scenery we are forced to endure.

Class is Back!

It's time to come out of your Christmas coma everyone, classes resume bright and early tomorrow morning! Dust off your boots and prepare for the brisk, snowy walk to campus, and treat yourself to some Starbucks to compliment your chic ensemble. Work the snow into your look by playing with metallics and soft neutrals, the colours work wonderfully with some fluffy white snow. Cute military boots never hurt either!
